Focus Your Faith
What is faith?
The Word of God tell is that faith is assurance of things hoped for, proof of things not seen (HEB 11:1). This means that you believe before you have actually received from God. Too many times, we ask and doubt, witholding our faith until it's in our hands. God wants to ask, and then act (and feel) as if we've already received.
Does this mean that you will get everything that you ask from Him? Certainly not! God knows that some of the things we ask for are not good for us. Because He is our loving Father, He will only supply us with every good thing we need. Faith means knowing that He always has our best interest on His mind, and in His heart.
Living the OPWP way in faith means continously searching the heart and mind of God so that you will know what to ask for.
Who needs faith?
Without faith, it is impossible to be well pleasing to Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He exists and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. (HEB 11:6)
